Black Wolf Mask 4-View by Qarrezel Black Wolf Mask 4-View by Qarrezel
Finished up this mask recently; as someone suggested recently, I have provided a multi-view spread in natural light so as so give a better idea of the structure.

I'll be finishing up the rest of the costume soon, and I'll have studio shots posted in my main gallery when I do.

I love this mask and the longer mane hair on the cowl/neck area. Can you tell me what length or what you use to get these? I want longer hair in the back than most fur pile provides.

i'd kill for a mask like this. no suit, just mask. you make those tacky mascot masks look less than mediocre.

for something like this, just a head, with that much detail and extra bits for the mane, how much does it cost to make?
just curious :)

The fur masks with moving jaws start around $800. This one probably wouldn't be too much more than that since it doesn't have a lot of decorative features.

Sweet! :D

Hey, have you ever thought about making moving eyelids? Obviously not animatronic ones, but like ones you can just move yourself or even make dolls-eyes type eyelids where you turn the head up and they close shut like a doll's eyes. ^^

Thanks!

I am very actively trying to get some animatronic eyelids going, actually. I have thought of poseable eyelids as well, but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

Well maybe you should try experimenting with dolls-eyes, so that when you lay down with the mask on it looks like the mask's actually closing its eyes, like those pottery dolls do with their eyes when you lay them down. ^_^

Good luck with the animatronics, maybe you could even learn how to make an animatronic tail like this one: [link]
