Mate, thank you so much for making and posting this. I know you're probably tired of hearing this but I came here from the SCP-1471 page. I just randomly came across a dude on Youtube with the name "SCP 1471", searched the name and found the article and it was easily the hottest thing I'd ever seen in my life. It was ridiculous. It was insane. Before I even finished reading the article I started crying. I didn't even know I could feel these things. I immediately went to make an account there to express what I was feeling but since the account creation process takes a while I started reading the comments and found that the image was stolen, and that the mask was created by you.

This is probably a super creepy post to leave but I wanted to thank you for letting me experience this. This changed my life. I'm gonna be worshiping this thing forever now. I dunno if I can say anything to buffer my creepiness here. Sorry. Thank you.

I made my first "serious" mask (i.e. not made out of cardboard or paper plates) when I was 12, actually.

The skull was sculpted in plasteline clay, and then molded and cast in polyurethane resin.

So you're the one making costumes for the SCP so that they can fool us! Very clever

I did not make the costume for any SCP. They used a photo of this costume without giving credit.

Also a joke. Please don't mind. I was just joking that they were using your costume to fool us. It's amazing like all your work. I find this oddly appealing. Either way, very great job. How long did this take you, I wonder?

Ah, sorry. I'm bad at picking up on jokes through text sometimes - and it doesn't help that people have actually assumed that this costume is a cosplay OF the SCP, rather than being the original... yeah, that's frustrating.
But anyway, thanks! I didn't actually time myself, but if I were to wager a guess based on the average length of time heads take, I'd say at least 20 hours (not counting the original sculpture and moldmaking, that'd be an additional 20 hours or so).

It's a CreepyPasta that I wrote last year...I'm not the best drawer so I kind of cheated and went on google to find a picture to use. There was a photo of the masked figure behind a door which is why I'm saying this is the origin since I had know idea at the time.
