A mask of a Qi-Lin, sometimes referred to as a Chinese Unicorn despite that it has two horns. This is obviously my own take on the Qi-Lin and so any mythological inaccuracies are my own artistic liberties.

The mane is wefted Kanekalon (synthetic weave hair), and the antlers are cast resin with attached screw posts to make them removable for transport.

the Fur to use is very expensive? (also the synthetic hair)

It's fairly expensive as fabrics go, but not that bad. The fur is $20-$30 per yard, and the hair is about $4 per packet. It takes about 5 packets to weft a mane of this size.
