A personal costume of mine which I wore to AC this year. I'm considering making a bodysuit and some feet to go with it for next year, but we shall see.

I'm thinking I need to add a little disclaimer, here.

YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!

I am very flattered at how much love this character is getting.

BUT:
- You may not make her your own character, she is mine.
- You may not make a costume of her, even if it's "in your own style"
- You may not commission a costume copy from me or anyone else
- You may not draw her without crediting me with the design and character
- You may not make money off of her likeness/image in any way

I've been looking forward to seeing this one with an obsession bordering on creepiness. XD Rather than just copypaste what I said on FA, I think I'll just reiterate that I LOVE this one. You come up with wonderful designs, and I seriously can't get over the ears... they're just so regal, yet somehow pretty damn adorable. This one really makes me excited to give you total artistic control over a project!

I always admire the small intricate designs on your characters. How did you first start doing this? Did you just start doodling until you found something that you thought "looked right", or do you follow certain shapes/rules to emphasize parts of the face?

Every time I try to draw designs on a character this ornate it always comes out looking lame and busy, ending up distracting from the facial features instead of adding to them. Any tips on how to get started? I appreciate it!
